About this course

Week 1
This course kicks off with a full-day online workshop, where you’ll be introduced to our structured learning approach.

Weeks 1–8

You’ll study for roughly one hour per day with:

Physical flashcards and audio notes
Practice papers
Personalised feedback as you progress.

To take this exam, you need to meet the competencies and work history requirements outlined by Resources Safety & Health Queensland.

Do I need to complete the pre-requisites before I do this course?
We recommend that you complete the pre-requisites and submit your application form by Week 3 of our Ventilation Officer course to give you time to book your exam with Resources Safety & Health Queensland.

Do you do Bulk Bookings?

Yes, we do every BOE Exam preparation course for QLD!

We specialise in assisting entire operations and companies transition their entire statutory workforce through these exams.

If I get this certification, can I apply for Mutual Recognition with New South Wales?

NSW doesn’t require an exam for Ventilation Officer so there isn’t a current Mutual Recognition agreement. You can instead apply for a practicing certificate once their qualifications are met.

This Optimised Course is a Nationally accredited course developed by Optimised Mining in partnership with Tectra Australia, RTO 40889.
